Adele's guardian calls her Gigi.  This is a biography she wrote about her:

We have five other dogs in our extended family, ranging from rescues to expensive breeder dogs. Every one of their owners loves their dogs, but has said more than once: "for my next dog, I want a clone of Gigi." I have standing offers from all of them to keep Gigi anytime I have to be out of town.

Gigi has a very easy-going disposition and is happiest when other people and dogs are around. If I'm gone for even an hour, she is waiting by the door and greets me with happy tail wags and wants to rub between my legs and be petted to say hello and I missed you.

Gigi has a very extroverted personality and is great with people and other dogs. She is okay by herself, but she gets a big smile on her face when she sees people and dogs to hang out with. I have two small grandchildren and Gigi patiently lets them do anything to her. I've seen the baby pull her coat and Gigi doesn't mind. The older one has hugged Gigi, squeezing a little too tightly, and Gigi still wags her tail with delight.

Gigi's the kind of dog who wants to be near you. If you're sitting on one side of the room, Gigi will be as near to you as you let her be. If you move to the other side of the room, Gigi will reposition herself to be near you there.

Gigi's preference is to go wherever I go. She never makes a peep when I'm driving or leaving her in the car. She is just happy to be close. I have a dog hammock in the backseat https://amzn.to/41AiOJp and my car has "dog mode" to keep climate control on if I leave her in the car while I go in to an appointment etc. Even if it's nighttime and I'm going out to dinner, Gigi wants to come along. She's great on road trips too.

If there's a perfect blend of strength and energy with calm and well behaved, that's Gigi. She is smart and learned commands quickly as a pup. With treats to motivate her, she can learn anything. If she does something we don't want her to, we use "un-uh" to reprimand her, and she gets it and doesn't repeat that behavior.

We like the way Gigi communicates. I don't like barky dogs and Gigi never barks - unless she is alerting me to something she feels I need to know. She has incredible sensory awareness and will bark to let me know someone is on the main road, turning into the driveway. That is, unless it's a friend or family member or someone else she knows. And then she waits eagerly at the door, but doesn't bark. How can she know this from so far away with 100% accuracy? It amazes me! When I'm home alone, I feel completely safe with Gigi in the house with me. I know she would alert me if anyone approached the house.

She's also barked vigorously in the direction of the distant woods or underbrush when we're walking. I look and don't see anything. Then I see the plants moving and a coyote slunking away. Living in Rancho Santa Fe, it's really nice to have a dog of Gigi's size (43 lbs). It's a comfort to know she is "coyote-safe" and she has actually run after and barked to scare away coyotes on the property more than once.

Gigi makes the cutest soft throat noise to let me know she wants to go outside or is hungry. Or she just comes to where I am, sits and stares at me...patiently, staring at me, until I respond and take her outside or to her feeding spot.

What makes us love Gigi so much is her personality, which is truly the best of the best. But then there are Gigi's looks. She could have been a beauty queen! I can't count the times people have stopped me whether I'm in a store, or on a walk, or at the dog park, to ask about her and remark on what a good looking, nice dog she is. It's true. She has perfect form and posture, her face is beautiful, and her coat is a gorgeous red with a sheen and glow to it like silver frosting that makes it even prettier than standard red, and her coat is the softest and silkiest imaginable to touch.
